Since machine-grade tape must meet higher strength requirements and is therefore thicker, it is relatively more expensive than standard transparent tape. Machine-grade transparent tape is generally longer, with lengths available up to 900 meters. Custom orders are available upon request, but they must be placed for an entire roll. The formula for calculating the price of transparent tape is: length × width × unit price per square meter. For example: 48mm × 100m × 0.75 yuan/square meter. The price per roll of this transparent tape would be: 0.048 × 100 × 0.75, which equals 3.6 yuan per roll. For some lower-grade transparent tapes, an additional 0.1 to 0.3 yuan should be added to the unit price per square meter. This is primarily due to the higher costs associated with the paper core and cardboard packaging.

Tensile Strength: As shown in the figure below, when pulled firmly, the transparent tape does not break easily.
Adhesiveness: If you don’t have specialized equipment, you can use a cardboard box: seal it with packing tape, then pull the tape up to see if the adhesive has lifted any of the cardboard.
